The Document Object Model (DOM) is a model of how HTML and XML documents are represented. It specifies the logical structure of a document and describes how it can be manipulated. It uses diagrams that define how XML documents are composed of objects, and the logical relationships among objects.

The RISING-DOM study will be conducted at Toulouse University Hospital, with a team composed of a principal investigator, a nurse, and a Clinical Research Associate (CRA). EMS staff will receive information sheets about the study and will be contacted by the investigator if they wish to participate. Once the study is completed, data from the study will be entered into a database for the ORU-Occitanie region.

The proposed project budget will include typical project costs. However, there are a few items that cannot be budgeted for, including faculty salary and meeting/conference/training travel. Only travel directly associated with the project is allowable. Researchers will also need to be granted release time from their current positions to conduct the research. The proposal will be reviewed by the DOM Study Section Sub-Committee, and recommendations for funding will be submitted to the DOM Research Oversight Committee.

DOM is committed to supporting new research and discoveries that will advance medical care. It provides pilot funding opportunities for investigators to move their discoveries along the clinical, research, and health services continuum. The program prioritizes multidisciplinary research teams and proposals that have significant impact in the medical field. It also provides support for career development. Career development awards support early career investigators and provide the opportunity to collect pilot data for upcoming grant submissions or a new research direction.
