A query can contain as many as six additional hints. To delete a hint, select it in a question and press the delete icon. The hint will be removed from the question and Mobius will revert to its default behavior when grading content. To reactivate a deleted hint, select the edit icon in the row. The deleted hint will be removed from the question and a new one will be created.

You can add as many additional hints as you like. However, if the query is too complex for one or two additional hints, the optimizer will select the wrong one and the query will fail. It will use the LEADING hint instead, which specifies the exact order of the join methods. It will also make it easier for the optimizer to determine the best execution plan based on the number of indexed tables and access paths in the query.

You can add as many additional hints as you want. The number of hints in a question is unlimited. The only limitation is how many you want to add.
